This service provides you with live bookmarks for your Internet browser whether it is Internet Explorer 7/8 or Mozilla Firefox (RSS is not compatible with Netscape).
The difference between your usual 'favourite' bookmarks and our 'live' bookmarks is that we change the description of the 'live' bookmarks ourselves to direct you to new WDYFL news items or web pages.
To activate the 'WDYFL Live' service in your internet browser, simply click on the highlighted RSS (
) icon when on the league's homepage. This is the highlighted icon next to the 'home' icon
in Internet Explorer 7/8. It is visible at the end of the address bar on Firefox. Alternatively, go to the webpage
http://www.wdyfl.org/wdyfl.xml.Whichever option you select, you will be provided with an option to subscribe to the service.
Your browser will automatically check the RSS bookmarks for updates at regular intervals. In Internet Explorer you can set the update frequency by right-clicking on 'WDYFL Live' in the feeds table. You can then change the update frequency to your desired frequency. Firefox updates hourly and is not easily changed by a computer novice. You can also force the bookmarks to update immediately in either browser.
