The OFA is running a Respect competition in the lead up to Christmas aimed at the youth element of the game, the purpose of which is to raise the profile and awareness of The FA Respect programme both for youth clubs and, equally as importantly, for youth players.
The OFA want them to design a picture that can be used as a splash page (the opening page) for our website/e-Christmas card (under 9-12 age group) or a pitch-side banner (under 13 -16 age group) that has the FA Respect programme at its heart, with the winning entries being showcased on our website.
The two winning entries will each receive a pair of tickets to watch England v Lithuania at Wembley Stadium in England's only home game, currently, until September 2015.
All other entries will be entered into a draw for consolation prizes.
The closing date for entries is 03 December 2014.
In addition there will be prizes for the clubs of the winning entrants and of course the OFA will ensure the club and league of the winning entries are also profiled as part of the winners profile as we look to raise awareness of the Respect programme.
Therefore the OFA please ask that you give this completion the widest possible promotion as I am sure you will agree that raising the profile of Respect is vital in ensuring our game is always played in the right spirit and it is important that both parents and players understand the Respect programme ethos and hopefully this competition will help to support this.
More information is available on the OFA website http://www.oxfordshirefa.com/news/2014/nov/respect-competition
The OFA will be promoting this competition at all their events during November especially the work they do in schools and with youth players and they would really appreciate our support in promoting this competition and highlighting the Respect programme.

As the teams are designated a letter (A, B, C etc) the SMS service cannot be used. Below explains how these events will work. Please email your results to email@example.com.
The format will be as follows, the teams are assigned the letters below and they will keep this assigned letter for each trophy event. Leagues have been formed randomly, teams will play each other once (trophy event 1).
The games will take place at the home ground of the first named team. Leagues will then be reformed mixing the teams so teams have the chance to play "new" opponents, and once again, they will play each other once (trophy event 2).
For trophy event 3 all the teams will be seeded, the actual format is yet to be decided.
For the U9 and U10 trophy event games, SMS text cannot be used as the teams are designated a letter A, B, C etc. The way to report your result is to email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Fixture information for the U9-U10 Trophy Events can be found on the WDYFL Full Time website.
2014-15 League and Cup fixtures are now available.

The OFA invitation League provides football for players in the U16 to U18 age groups. The teams in the Invitation League usually come from both the Oxford Mail League and the Witney & District Youth League. Therefore, these older players will now be playing teams they had not encountered before. All teams are seeded into leagues based on their previous performance in their respective League. If you want to join then complete the forms and send them to the name on the form.
There has been a problem recently with sporting venues being targeted by thieves in the Oxford area. Phones and wallets have been stolen from both changing rooms and ‘bags left on the side of the pitch’.
Any suspicious activity should be reported immediately to the police using the non-emergency 101 number or if there is an offence in progress or just happened then 999 should be used.
Please note that the correct postcode for Grendon based matches is: Westcott Social Club, HP18 0PD - this applies to all U12 - U15 matches.
The WDYFL have now produced a Referral form so that anyone can report breaches of the code of conduct, poor behaviour issues and any Respect/Welfare concerns.
You can now complete the form online or download the form in either PDF or Word Document format and send it via email.
Find your team and view the current league table, upcoming matches and current league form. Visit Your Team.
Team Managers can now submit a match report online, the link is under forms in the main menu or just click here. Note: You will need to login first and reports need to be submitted by 6pm at the latest on Match Day. Please also note that Scorers for both teams need to be supplied!
